ABOUT TTO - ART ACADEMY PLOVDIV
Who We Are and What Our Mission Is
The Technology Transfer Office at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev” is a unit that supports the transfer of innovation and knowledge from academic, research, and creative projects to society and business. The TTO acts as a bridge between the creative community, scientific research, and the business ecosystem. We work to ensure that innovative ideas and artistic projects can reach the market through professional support, a network of partnerships, and access to resources.
Our Mission
To promote and support the sustainable development of cultural entrepreneurship by integrating art, technology, and business. We work in close collaboration with local, regional, and European institutions to develop innovative policies and provide support for the cultural and creative sector.

The Technology Transfer Office was established as an independent unit by a Decision of the Academic Council of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev” – Plovdiv, during a meeting held on July 11, 2022.
Its activities are defined in the Statutes for the Structure and Activities of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev” – Plovdiv, adopted by the General Assembly on May 5, 2023, and amended by decision of the General Assembly on April 30, 2025, pursuant to Article 21, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Higher Education Act and is part of the Management and Development Programme of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev” – Plovdiv (2024–2028), under Objective 4.2: Promotion of active project participation in national and international programmes, and specifically under Activity 4.2.1: Development of the Technology Transfer Office through the implementation of modern project management tools aimed at optimizing processes and communication.
